A Human Rights Attorney, Litigator and Consultant.
Working at the intersection of human rights & tech. Looking for my next opportunity to accelerate
change.
My approach
I was first introduced to the power of a courtroom from inside an immigration detention facility when I assisted a client who was the sole survivor of a massacre in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. Working in a “hostile” jurisdiction that boasted an infamous immigration judge with a 97% denial rate prepared me well for my subsequent litigation roles and empowered me to employ innovative strategies in legal epicenters like the U.S.-Mexico border and The Hague, Netherlands. My legal and factual analysis encompasses not only traditional U.S. law but draws on a wide range of investigation and litigation skills honed before human rights mechanisms, immigration courts, and domestic and international criminal courts. Through various internships and staff attorney roles, I’ve learned the mechanics of litigation from all sides of the adversarial legal system.
Clients &
Collaborations
I have worked for and collaborated with a variety of partners, ranging from large institutions like the UNHCR to border NGOs like Border Servant Corps. I am always looking to collaborate with organizations utilizing strategic litigation, creative investigative research, and innovative tech tools to advance human rights in the U.S. and abroad.

I use the law to advance human rights and advise NGOS in tech initiatives.
I am a tech evangelist! Whether in the court room or in the field, I am passionate about digital security and believe better tech directly translates to better advocacy.
